And I take it you already know that Revenant is a frequent supporting character in PS238?

And where in the name of the most holy did you find another copy of that book? I'm on my second copy of the book now, my first having finally fallen apart ...Rebekahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11659595825433939783noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5546837.post-63300894672782720882010-09-07T17:44:15.578-04:002010-09-07T17:44:15.578-04:00Rebekah, that anthology wouldn't happen to be ...Rebekah, that anthology wouldn't happen to be "Superheroes" edited by John Varley? If so, it appears we have something else in common :)MrCynicalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09597685655664903990noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5546837.post-90181002293133502102010-09-07T17:37:29.620-04:002010-09-07T17:37:29.620-04:00Over the past couple months I have been interested...Over the past couple months I have been interested in the works of Robert Harris. Years ago I read Fatherland (a murder mystery that takes place in sixties Germany after they won WWII) and enjoyed it, and most recently I read The Ghost (they made it into a movie last year), and I enjoyed Imperium and Conspirita.

I also enjoyed The Relic and it's follow up novel Reliquary by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child. Mount Dragon is also a good read. I know a lot of these books are years old but I mostly read science fiction and don't often step out of that.

I haven't bought a book in a long while, usually I check stuff out from the three libraries in my area. I just save so much more money that way.Tomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01988725434369525914noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5546837.post-21419511252773505962010-09-07T16:42:00.590-04:002010-09-07T16:42:00.590-04:00I'm about 2/3 of the way through MASKED (and y...I'm about 2/3 of the way through MASKED (and yes, it drives me nuts that our titles are so similar ... I think I liked this anthology better when it was going to be called "With Great Power"). It is AWESOME. I'm planning to blog long and loud about it when I finish it, but I think I can easily compare it to the anthology that got me into writing superhero prose fiction 12 years ago. Except this one is better--it does a lot of the stuff that I ended up discovering on my own as I tried to "fix" the previous anthology. Short version--excellent, excellent book, well worth the buy for anyone who likes superhero prose.Rebekahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11659595825433939783noreply@blogger.com
