A few more ideas, if I may:

An AWESOME Mary Jane or an AWESOME Scarlet Witch post...since some CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED AWARD WINNING writers need to be reminded.

a THE 90'S WEREN'T SO BAD week. Were there some bad comics back then? Yes. Were there some bad decisions being made back then? Yes. But guess what? The past ten years of comics weren't all that great either, so the anti-90's hate-fest seems hypocritical to me.

Here, you could bring up all the good things that came out of the 90's, like the Busiek/Perez Avengers, JLA (back when Morrison writing JLA characters was a good thing), Young Justice (Tim, Bart, Con, & Cassie before they all got ruined), some Mcfarlane/Larsen/Michelinie Amazing Spiderman, Generation X,...I could go on.

Phil does have a point. I loved Morrison's JLA run as well as the Busiek/Perez Avengers. The nineties does get overshadowed by the horrible excesses of the Image era and all the horrors guys like Liefeld produced but there were some good times to be had. Remember Gaiman's Sandman? Awesome stuff.
