Underused character giants!
Just some characters I like, in small, concentrated doses. None of them can probably sustain a long term series of their own, but when they show up, they are awesome? Agree? Disagree? Candidates of your own?
SCARLET WITCH: When I first started reading The Avengers on a regular basis, with was the Busiek/Perez run of the late 90's. I always thought she was interesting in that she wasn't trying to be defined by her connection to Magneto. That, and you could tell that Perez really really loved drawing her.
Then, Bendis came in and made her radioactive. It seems that today's writers can only portay her in two way: 1) INCEST ACTION!!!, and 2) CRAZY BITCH!!! This and the Civil War/SHRA fiasco are the reasons why I refuse to touch an Avenger book since.

I agree. I mean, I like some characters, but they just don't need a series.
For me, Hawkman and the Spectre are at the top.
